First days of my internship

today is a special day. We just finished working in the office and are going to celebrate Agneszka's Bday. She is a colleague of mine and we know each other from the office. Though she is reporting to someone else. My "boss" is a really nice lady, she cares about her teammembers a lot. Just for us, the newcomers she arranged a 3 day training (from mon. till wed.). We use meny tools and accesories in the office. I just got a desk. Its really nice, right next to the window. :P After work I usually commute with the local train, so called "kolejka". The dormitory, where I stay belongs to Gdanks University and is really just like our dorms at home XD. Foreigners use to complaun, but I guess, we Slavs don't care too much about things like room service :P My roommate, Pawol is a really nice guy. We talk a lot about several things. Unfortunatelly we always forget to talk about things I shoulf know and need. For instance where is the kitchen ect. XD After 3 days I found it however :P It is better not to tell where I'm from, as long as I dont want to get answers in plain polish. These guys here (even if they know the language) get creeps if they have to use english, so they just simly use polish and dunnot care what I understand. Thats why I altered my strategy and created a false answer for the question: where do you come from. So just for you guys to know, I come from Hungary. Because hungarian is not similar to polish, and this way people who want to speak with ME must practic their english. As no single soul knows hungarian over here :D :D :D (I am so unique 'baby)

I still need some time to get used to the environment here. The Gdansk AIESEC however helped a lot sofar. Each time something has to be done, they send a "prophet to speak the word" - the polish word, cuz I dunnot. To sum it all up, Aiesec provided with a really interesting internship in this Baltic city of the polish Gdans (actually Gdynia :P) and I can only encourage you, guys, to follow the pattern :)
